Symposium:
Does Photography Need Theory? A Discussion
This one-day symposium saw artists, photographers, academics and philosophers come together to discuss the long standing and complex relationship between between theory and practice.
Chaired by Lucy Soutter & Nina Mangalanayagam, the symposium encouraged an open and engaging conversation between the speakers and the audience, artists and theorists, and anyone who is thinking about the value and relevance of theory to practice.
